The Imperative of Biogenic Material Sections​

The lecture will offer a compelling argument for rethinking the material basis of architecture in a time of a triple planetary crisis of global warming, pollution, and biodiversity. Asserting that the most viable means to address these intertwined issues is the use of plant and earth-based materials, the talk centers on regenerative and innovative biogenic architectural materials demonstrated and explored through the section, as a form of representation and a locus of design.
